Dr. Pinto practices general cardiology and has substantial experience in the treatment of coronary artery disease, hypertension, congestive heart failure, valvular heart disease, atrial fibrillation and other forms of cardiac arrhythmia as well as treatment of cardiomyopathy. In addition, his noninvasive cardiac expertise includes performance and evaluation of nuclear cardiac stress testing, echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms, as well as monitoring and interpretation of holter and ECG results. He also specializes in cardiac intervention and has performed over 3000 cardiac catheterization procedures and over 1000 coronary angioplasty/stent procedures. Dr. Pinto also treats venous disease and has performed numerous endovenous radiofrequency ablation procedures. He maintains full admitting, consultative and procedural privileges at Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington, Illinois.
