Raja Sharma MD, FACC, FSCAI

Dr. Raja Sharma is a native of Illinois. He has been a partner with Illinois Cardiovascular Specialists since 2001.

Dr. Sharma graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in Biochemistry, in 1990. He earned his medical degree from Loyola University, Chicago, in 1994. While at Loyola Medical Center, he completed his Internal Medicine Residency in 1997 and his Cardiology Fellowship in 2000. In 2001 he completed his Interventional Cardiology Fellowship and was also the Chief Interventionalist Fellow.

Dr. Sharma also specializes in Peripheral Arterial Disease. He performs Peripheral Interventions such as Stenting, Balloon Angioplasty and Atherectomy.

Dr. Sharma takes an interest in speaking to and educating the community. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his family. He is an avid sports fan and likes to travel.
